Every Monday morning I get the same E-mail from payroll:

"This is a friendly reminder to submit a copy of your time card at your earliest convenience..." (read: 'If you don't send us your hours for last week asap, you're a$$ is not going to get paid on Friday!!')

Dan Remes

1) A refreshing drink originating in northern Minnesota consisting of lemonade and Sprite (Sierra Mist can substitute).

The ratios are generally two-thirds lemonade to one-third Sprite.

A dirty version of the drink, the "Rem-job", is a mixture of lemonade, Sprite, and vodka.

"Glenna asks the waitress for the Dan Remes every time she goes out to eat."

"Menelik loves a good Rem-job on Friday nights."

employee: "Jim isn't responding to my email requests to shut down the Hope Creek nuclear power plant before the East shore of New Jersey is a radioactive wasteland."
boss: "Well, remail him. Maybe he's just busy."

remoralise

To raise a person's morale after it has been previously lowered, generally with the intent of lowering it again immediately after. To lift someone up so they have farther to fall back down. The opposite of demoralise.

henry: Why are you losing on purpose?
tom: I am going to remoralise him so when I win he will be more demoralised.

remembered

Love opposes reason. Thats why many great things have come into existence, people overcame reason, ignored being called crazy, naive, stupid to create beauty, art.
If someone calls you naive for "loving" what you do, even "loving" somebody (definitions may differ greatly), keep on keeping on. Trust me, they might just envy the rock you possess.

There is an album called "Reine Vernunft darf niemals siegen". I never really listened to it or the band. But the title i always remembered.
