Useless as a bent nail.

Totally lacking in the ability to get the job done. Derived from carpenter slang to refer to the metalurgical properties of a nail deformed and bent by extreme resistence in the material being nailed, or due to the inexperience or lack of skill by the person striking the nail. Despite streightening, once the nail is used again, it will tend to deform and bend, rendering it useless.

I sent Bob out to clinch the deal, and instead the client called to cancel the order! I swear, Bob is "Useless as a bent nail."

Much more subtle than fuck you or go to hell, but with all the impact. It is the abbreviated imperative for, "You should get bent over, so someone can sodomize you on Christmas!" Used in reply to outrageous requests...

Spouse: "Honey, could you and your friends please quiet down? I'm trying to speak with mother about the baby shower."
Other Spouse: "Hey bee-atch, get bent! Can't you see that me and my homies are watching the game? And tell that old hag to suck my dick while you're at it?"
