When you get embarrassed or cringe at something you did that you thought was cool in the past.

Third hand embarrassment is when you realize that your past is cringy.

Person 1: *remembers that they used to make gacha vids and thought they were cool at the time*

Person 1: “EW, that’s cringy and embarrassing!”
