To overkill a joke. When a joke is told by one person and then someone else keeps piggybacking and adding on to that joke until, at last, it has no humor left in it.

Man, we were having a couple of beers the other night and this chick walked in with those UGG boots. We all started laughing at her, but Jimmy kep going and going and going. I felt kinda bad, but he should've known he gained it.

To believe something was created by a person when infact it was generated by an AI.

From GAI (Generative Artificial Intellegence) and to gain someones trust.

Jimmy got gained at his wedding. He thought his bride's wedding vowels were genuine but infact she used an AI to write them. Poor Jimmy.

This term refers to a man "gaining" an inch to his dick by having done something extremely badass/manly, thus becoming even more manly. Men can wear these accomplishments as a medal and brag about them at later dates.

Dude #1: "Man yesterday was crazy! I definitely gained an inch."
Dude #2: "What did you do to earn that accomplishment?"
Dude #1: "I grew a beard, threw on my plaid shirt and bibs, and went out to the forest and chopped down trees to make myself a log cabin."

Gained respect can also become lost respect, just like gained trust can become lost trust.

Gained respect isn't a guarantee that the respect will last forever for anybody, male or female. In a movie, it makes a happy ending, but in reality, things fluctuate a bit more.
