Games for Windows

A marketing campaign by Microsoft to show that Windows is the only PC gaming platform(Mac OS has very few games and Linux has no hope of being a gaming platform). Games showing this are expected to be Windows Vista compatible. The new GfW DVD case is designed to be similar to conole game cases.

Windows user: Games for Windows - that gets to the point. Sucks to be a Mac.

Mac user: DAMMIT MAN! Where are all the Mac games.

Windows Vista

A crappy operating system for your computer that slows even the fastest machines, attracts a heck lot of viruses and costs more than the earth. It comes with Windows Activation, that treats honest buyers as criminals. It also has been trying to copy Mac OS X (and failing miserably).

Bill : Hi. I just installed windows vista on my pc and now it won't work beacuse I failed activation.

Steve : I know. Even Windows 95 was better. I still use XP. Kill activation!

W.E.I is a microsoft tool which rates your computers processor, memory, graphics, gaming graphics, and primary hard disk. The W.E.I gives you a number which is meant to give you an idea of what software you should get for your PC. It also gives you ideas of what you should upgrade to increase performance.

Guy 1: Dude, i'm gonna buy Microsoft Flight Simulator
Guy 2: You fucking noob, flight sim recommends a windows experience index of 5. your computer only rates 3.5. its gonna run like shit.
