Coming in there with a stick

The commonly used parental threat (usually empty threat) of intimidating one's child (or other subordinate) into doing what is asked of them. Very often used on defiant children when they refuse to go to bed or obey their parental figure.

Son: I'm not going to go to bed...I'll stay up as long as I want!

Dad: The hell you are! Get to bed or else I'm coming in there with a stick!

The incessant question used by passengers to incite the driver of a vehicle to distraction. This inquiry results in more accidents and divorces than cell phone usage and internet use combined. The only correct defense from the insanity induced by the constant inquiry is, "It's at least another hour." even when the destination is only another 5 minutes.

Q: "Are we there yet"
A: "It's at LEAST another hour..."

Pythagorean Theorem

The Pythagorean Theorem states that if Pedestrian A attempts to cross in front of car B at anything less than a 90 degree perpendicular angle, we can conclude that Pedestrian A is getting cut off.

Steve is at a party and sees his friend, Jeff, talking to a girl that looks younger than 18.

He walks within earshot and squawks in an exasperated voice, "Get outta there!"

while you’re down there

Something a person might say when another person is below his or her waist (be it picking up a dropped item, recovering from a fall, etc...) It implies that the upright person would like to receive oral from the lower one, since they’re so conveniently positioned. More often performed by females to males since women are better at multitasking.

“Hey, Abby... while you’re down there looking for your contact lense, mind giving me a blow job?”
