When you go back to school or college after a half term or holiday and you can’t listen or learn to what the teachers are telling you because you’re not in the educational state of mind yet.

Guy 1: Did you catch a word of what Mr. Price just said in our last lesson?

Guy 2: Nah man I have a major half term hangover.

A noun used to describe those who bunk off work/school/anything for any reason, including sickness, laziness etc.

ie.) sweeping the dirt under the rug.
