A general term to refer to someone who is lesbian, gay, bisexual, transexual, questioning, intersex, etc. The degree of how far "under the umbrella" a person is indicates the extent of their homosexuality; for instance, someone who is bi-curious would be described as a little under the umbrella, whereas a flamer would be deep under the umbrella.
