A portmanteau of the words "refugee" and "fugitive", to accurately describe the treatment of refugees as fugitives by facilitating them in isolated and guarded camps as they do criminals.
Examples of countries which exercise this sort of treatment include Australia, infamous for its xenophobic and sensational attention to border security. Refugitives are a controversial topic there, and were the deciding issue in the 2001 election.

noun - Same as repugnancy. Disgust, repulsion, abhorrence, revulsion, offensive. In a state of being repugnant.
