Was a derogatory term once used to compare these so-called Muscle cars to Japanese imports with no more then 6 cyclinders.

Now a term used to describe cars that are modified to look fast, but arn't...

Billy Bob - 'Hey Cletus...what you think this imported shitbox on wheels is running on...what with no more then 6 cyclinders?'

American Ricer

owner of cavalier or any other weak american car who like some civic and accord owners couldnt afford real parts for their car so they just bought altezza tail lights and everything else they could find at discount auto parts.

yes they couldve had a v8 but its not like any american car is going to last them through their senior year in high school. all american cars are crap. just give it up

Tommy Ritter

Tommy Ritter was a guy who got called out publicly (via Worldstarhiphop.com) about desperately messaging a girl begging to eat her out... It got to a point where he messaged her every day for nearly a month and offered to pay her $70 if she'd let him. Basically, if someone compares you to Tommy Ritter they are calling you thirsty (desperately horny).

A: Bro that super sexy chick over there just turned me down but I'm about to go see what I did wrong and try again...

Ricer

Any vehicle be it 4,6, or 8 cylinder with excessive amounts of useless objects on their car.

1. Spoiler on a FWD for drag puposes (ok if it is for road racing, contrary to what most believe, because it does help the back end of the car from loosing grip in hard cornering)
2. Stickers such as Powered by... or VTEC when it doesnt have it etc...(Again on a show vehicle stickers are ok because they must in order to keep sponsorship)
3.Mufflers = ricer, no horsepower added just noise
Exhaust = Racer, added horsepower
4. LEsson: Ricer's are not just honda's and acura's so dont trash them it makes people look ignorant when there are dozens of Imports that have been modified correctly and have power upwards of 500hp, and if you truly are a car person you know that thats good for any vehicle

Usually a young man with a car from Japan who uses cosmetic modifications rarther than using engine based mods. This is essentially the safer way to go for young boys on the cruise scene who cannot afford high performance mods for their engine due to insurance purposes.

Ricers usualy have:

Bodykits
Spoilers
Tints
Large Alloys
Lowering kits
Lighting kits
Audio enhancements

Although most people regard ricers as idiots, this is not the case. There are some who spoil it out there for us. Ricers can also be known as cruisers. Cruisers do not race and usually show off their cars in car parks with others that have the same interest.

Usually Hondas are used for the extensive amount of styling available. Engine mods can be put on later on as Honda's are one of the most tunable engines in the world. And to say that Honda's are no good, then tell that to the Halfords GT team that race using Integras and currently hold the championship.

Be owned.

Ricer/Cruiser: Someone who uses only cosmetic mods.

Predjudice: An act of Prejudice is, as the name implies, the process of "pre-judging" something. It implies coming to a judgment on a subject before learning where the preponderance of evidence actually lies, or forming a judgment without direct experience.

Just because you can't afford to do up your car, don't mock others because they can. In the end, it seems like jealousy.

Alternatively, a car belonging to a ricer.

J.S. Bach's Musical Offering, although consisting predominantly of canons and fugues, contains two lesser-known ricercars as well.

Ricer

derived from "rice burner", which typically signified any japanese import vehicle.
has since been modified to signify any young male who takes said rice burner and modifies the exterior of the vehicle to include, but not be limited to: loud exhaust (slang: fart can), neon lights mounted under the car, strobe lights in the turn signal housings (but have been known to be mounted in other locations), body styling kits (which replace the original body pieces), large graphics, bumper stickers on the side of the car (typically of products that haven't been installed on the car), loud audio system which includes enough bass to shake bolts loose on the car (and make your eyeballs shake), a 3 or 4 foot universal wing mounted on the trunk lid of a front wheel drive car (used in racing for downforce on rear wheel drive cars).

look at that ricer in that nasty honduh.
