Very 'now' and well meaning, showing suitable deference for someone (or something) - like your bud's new 'bike' or his ipod or saying anything that would otherwise come across uncool, like;
"I really like your new ipod' - sounds and acts-out much cooler... when - motioning with ones eyes, at his bike, you're heard to say "Respect Bro"
(Use; Strictly amongst friendly males, - otherwise might be misconstrued - with consequences)

An F grade that is almost a D, but is still an F. Indicates some effort in a class. It is almost passing, therefore respectable; as oppsed to a 13% F that is beyond redemption.
Person 1: Did you get an F?
Person 2: Yeah, but it is an respectable F. Almost at a D.
Person 1: You're lucky. I got a 12%. I'm screwed.
