When a person attempts to insult another person, however the insult actually pertains to the person insulting, they are talking from experience. More specifically this is calling psychological projection, however a more loose yet fitting phrase would be "talking from experience".
Some wannabe cyberbullies were acting hard and calling people gay, but we all knew they were just talking from experience.

When one must leave the main office to undertake a task which if completed in the office would be offensive or embarrassing. Such examples include leaving to loudly pass wind, belch, smoke, make a private phone call or some kind of physical relation/interaction with a colleague.
