Robot wars was a TV show that has ran for 9 series in the UK, each week 6 or 8 competitors battled out for a place in the semi finals. But they went only fighting themselves, but the House Robots, they were: Matilda, Dead Metal, Shunt, Sgt Bash, Sir Killalot, Growler, Mr Psycho, and Cassius Chrome

MMORPG based in the Star Wars universe.

One of the advertised features of S.W.G. had been that you would be able to make your character into a Jedi if you did the right things. However, the "right things" involved a LOT of hard work and a lot of time. You could become a Jedi if you put enough hours in but it was a frustrating chore and not really worth it.

After enough bitching from the players, the makers of the game changed things around....and now it's so easy to become a Jedi that there are about 50 dozen Jedi players on each SWG server. While it's definitely cool to be a Jedi, it sort of contradicts the storyline of Star Wars, which says that at the time the game takes place (between the first movie and Empire Strikes Back) there weren't a million Jedi running around.

Star Wars

One of the most epic movie series ever created. The brainchild of George Lucas this series consists of two trilogies 4, 5 and 6 (the original) and 1, 2 and 3 (the new one).

Only four characters remain throughout all 6 episodes, R2D2, C3PO, Anakin Skywalker and Senator Palpatine/Darth Sidious/The Emperor. The most well known characters in this series would be: Yoda, Darth Vader, R2D2, C3PO, Luke Skywalker, Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Star Wars is also renowned for its creation of the Lightsaber, one of the best weapons ever created, it can be used to deflect blaster bolts, cut things, kill people, seal doors and pwn everything in sight.
