House scalper

Term used by leftist and anti-landlord movement that equates landlordism with ticket scalping (buying up concert tickets and reselling them, which can be banned or illegal). The term intends to point out how many people are against people buying up tickets, but often don't think the same way about a far more important issue, the housing market.

Fifty new houses in the city have just been bought up by that shipping magnate. He's a total house scalper.

Inherent description of caucasian inner-city dwellers' faces (see townie), with features such as: wind-burned skin; small pissy-blue eyes; withered teeth; a vacant, drunken expression; dirt.

The scaldy-faced bastard was dry-shaving in the shop-window's reflection.

Scaldy

An Irish word said with alot of emphasis on the "a" sound, often elongated for dramatic effect. The word is the exact opposite of munya and means something bad and it typically applies to something rather than someone, but in severe cases the latter can be applied.

paddy 1: did you get the bag sorted?
Paddy 2: nah, this plug doesn't to tic.
Paddy 1: what a scaldy prick!
