A woman with the morals of a man, or a woman with a sense of sexual freedom. Sometimes may be referring to a rape victim, an outsider, a woman who is free with her body, and in general, a woman who has sex outside of the boundaries of normal sexual behavior for women in her community.

Paris Hilton is considered a 'Slut' because she is has a sense of sexual freedom.

Slut

A derogatory term for a "promiscuous" woman. Promiscuous varies itself, whether you have a few one-night stands, sex outside of a serious and loving relationship.

What people DON'T realize is that a lot of "sluts" are survivors of sexual abuse. People with promiscuous behavior shouldn't be put down. It just makes things worse. You have to understand where they're coming from.

Client: I was a slut, because my step-dad taught me that all what I was good for was sex. I had sex to get love and to numb the pain of what I was going through.

Therapist: It's not your fault. You were just re-enacting what you were taught.
