Similar to get a room, this is a derisive comment used about someone who is (or appears to be) drunk so often that they literally ought to "get a tab" at their local pub.

"my tim went young outside the, um...."
"are you pissed again?!"
"er.. I think-"
"god, man, get a tab!"

An implication that someone is blind because of their inability
to walk in a straight forward manner.
Something you tell to a person that has trouble keeping or
getting friends.
Advice given to an ugly girl who wants to catch a man.

Dude at bar: "If Tyrone doesn't quit tripping over me I'm going to kick his ass."
Waitress: "Tyrone drinks till he's blind, he needs to get a dog."

The Get a life is an achievement for Unreal Tournament 3 which is coming out for Xbox 360. The description is 'Get 200 kills on 50 different days' which is basically like the Seriously achievement in Gears of War, where you need to get 10000 kills.
