zergling

A disposable unit used in an attack. Originally the smallest combat unit of the race The Zerg in the computer game Starcaft it is now used to describe any such insignificant unit, especially ones sent in large numbers.

There are like 50 3rd level characters trying to kill that level 15 mob. Go my little zerglings, go!

Also modifications of the term to satisfy any forum username to express similar feelings towards a person.
