Term used to describe the violent campaigns carried out by Irish nationalist groups such as the Irish Republican Army to achieve independence from the United Kingdom.
The term applies both to the violence leading to formation of the Republic of Ireland (i.e. War of Independence and the Irish Civil War) in the early 20th century, and also to the more recent violence in and about Northern Ireland, which dated from the late 1960s.

The inordinately attractive woman with whom you have to work regularly causing you to become incapable of doing that for which you were hired. Will often become the source of rumors by bored, disgruntled, or dissatified coworkers who are generally unhappy with their own lives and wish it were they who were with "trouble."
The hot chick in the office.

The word your friend uses after they get into a shit situation involving an injury, so you don't get all panicky on them.
Hey man, uh, I ran into a bit of trouble, d'you think you could take me to the hospital. Um...maybe we should look for my arm, too.

He was in trouble, a few females wanted him dead. Not a lot, a single digit number, but enough that he was in trouble.
