Arguments about whether Joel or Mike was better on Mystery Science Theater 3000 are usually pointless.

Lumina Studio Theater

A kick-ass acting group in the United States. Not the car. We do Shakespeare, Dickens and random shit made up by our director. We usually (but not always) twist the setting or characters somehow. Lumina is not to be treated casually. We take it seriously. It is not an after-school activity. And not a cult, at all...
"I have a Lumina Studio Theater rehearsal from 12:30 to 3:00 on Saturday."

"Really? That short?"

Or

"What do you do do for fun?"
"I do Lumina."
Or
"Can't you just skip a Lumina rehearsal once?"
"Hahahahahahaha."

Firesign Theatre

Ingenious, one-of-a-kind comedy troupe consisting of Phil Austin, Peter Bergman, David Ossman, and Philip Proctor specializing in a unique, multi-media form of non-linear humor; a quintessential style that defies imitation. They inadvertently met at radio station KPFK Los Angeles one night in 1966 and hit it off so well they began a relationship that produced some 20-plus record albums, three films, three television specials, two books and innumerable radio programs over a span of 40 years.

In the decade that followed their meeting, they wrote and performed thirteen albums for Columbia Records with dialogue that has become part of the national lexicon. Some of their best-known titles include "How Can You Be In Two Places At Once When You’re Not Anywhere At All," "Don't Crush That Dwarf, Hand Me the Pliers," "Everything You Know Is Wrong" and "I Think We’re All Bozos On This Bus."

Because of their complexity, Firesign recordings tend to become funnier with repeated listenings as new jokes are revealed, and their high production values provide an additional layer of aesthetic interest that endears them to audiophiles. Similarly, Firesign Theatre productions take place in a satirical world with many subtle and oblique references to music, literature, politics and other aspects of pop culture which fans enjoy decoding.
SOME FIRESIGN THEATRE PHRASES YOU MAY HAVE HEARD:

"More sugar!"
"Shoes for industry, comrade."
"He's no fun... he fell right over."
"We're ALL bozos on this bus."
"I'd like to order an anchovy to go and hold the pizza."
"Who's excited?"
"Weirdly cool!"
"Forward, into the past!"
"Who am us anyway?"
"How about a Fillipino creamy coming in shorts and quarts?"
"That's nothing but a two-bit ring from a Crackerback Jox!"
"We are sausages with eyes!"

Grand Theft Auto

1. The crime of stealing a car.

2.The best thing to happen to videogames ever. First developed for the PC in 1996, GTA created a huge storm with it's ground breaking violence, just like Mortal Kombat before it. Even though it branded an '18' certificate, there was still outrage. It was when it hit the PSone that things really started to get stirred up. On the Daily Mail (England) the words 'Evil "Game"'. When GTA london hit the shelves, again the Daily Mail were the first to brand it with a mark. "An addition to the evil." it said, reffering to that it was the first add-on pack ever made. GTA2, and it had all calmed down a bit. There was still some anger though. When Driver wowed the crowds with it's 3D graphics and smooth handling, Rockstar knew they had to come up with a solution. So they decided to make it 3D. No suprises there then. But Rockstar also decided that they would put thier next game where they knew it would sell well. That place was the next gen console. Being faithful to Sony and the PC, they put their game on those two systems. They knew it would sell well. But they didn't know it would sell as well as it did. If you had told Rockstar that thier game would sell 8 million copies, they would have laughed at you and called security. But that is what happened. Think about that for a second. That is a LOT of money. You pay £40 for a new game, and 8 million copies were sold. How much money is that? £320000000. Dan Houser must be laughing. The controversy this caused was outstanding. 'The Evil Returns in 3 Dimensions' screamed the Daily Mail. Of course, they had to make a sequel. So they did. It was anticipated a little bit. The gameplay was slightly improved. Rockstar made a little bit of money. Its quite a good game. BRING ON SAN ANDREAS!!!!!!!!!
Official Playstation 2 Magazine UK: "Vice City doesn't just blur the barrier imbetween videogames and popular culture, it completely decimates them."

PSM2: "Grand Theft Auto Vice City is the best thing to happen to any console ever."

Official Playstation 2 Magazine UK: "San Andreas looks so good, that a member of staff actually pissed themselves. That is not a lie. Really.
