Netball is an extremely overlooked sport. The best team in the world is the Aussie Diamonds and second is the English Roses. It involves seven players from each team; GS shoots goals can only stay in the end third, GA also shoots but is allowed in the attacking third and the centre third, WA cannot shoot or go in the D but is allowed in the attacking third and centre third, C is allowed all over the court except the D and takes the first pass to start play, WD is allowed in the centre third and the defending third but cannot go in the D (one at each end) GD can go into the D in the defending third and the centre third, GK can go into the D but only allowed into the defending third. There are three thirds altogether and each team should have at least 3 subs in case of injury. Matches last 60 minutes and the game requires agility, good reactions and high fitness levels. Open to ages from approximately 6 years to 50 years. There are many rules in netball like you ant drop the ball (bounce the ball) or run with the ball or go offside and many more.

The word 'netbanger' is formed from two nouns: 'net' + 'banger'. The 'net' part is simply a shortened version of the word Internet. 'Banger' is a noun that literally means someone or something that makes a bang. Its precise and intended meaning is actually derived from the Icelandic word, banga, meaning 'to hammer'. In combination, the two nouns produce the new noun, 'netbanger', which denotes irreverence, a degree of iconoclasm, and free thinking. The name netbanger does not have negative connotations.
