Lovers of Cluj-Napoca

The Lovers of Cluj-Napoca are two human skeletons buried together in a cemetery in the Romanian city of Cluj-Napoca. The skeletons belong to a man and woman who died when they were around 30 years old.

The lovers lived between 1450 and 1550. They were buried facing each other and with their hands interlocked. The male skeleton likely died due to a broken sternum caused by a blow from a blunt object in a fight or accident. The cause of death of the female is unclear from her skeleton. Archaeologists compared the lovers to Romeo and Juliet because the woman may have died of a broken heart caused by the death of the man.

They were both buried at the same time. The larger male skeleton is on the right and the smaller female skeleton is on the left.
The Lovers of Cluj-Napoca were a romantic couple that were buried together in the historic city of Cluj-Napoca.

napoli

napoli (not to be confused with the proper noun, which indicates the Italian city)
Function: verb
Inflected Form(s): napolied
Pronunciation: nA'poli

1. To brutalize and rape, sodomize as bad as you can possibly make it, a young, religious virgin woman who was saving herself for marriage.
2. To hella rape somebody.

Etymology: From State Senator Bill Napoli's (R-SD) description of an acceptable rape that would merit an exemption from South Dakota's abortion ban.

BILL NAPOLI: A real-life description to me would be a rape victim, brutally raped, savaged. The girl was a virgin. She was religious. She planned on saving her virginity until she was married. She was brutalized and raped, sodomized as bad as you can possibly make it, and is impregnated. I mean, that girl could be so messed up, physically and psychologically, that carrying that child could very well threaten her life.

napover

The sluggishness one often feels after taking a nap when the body wants to stay asleep for the long haul but the afternoon's activities are calling. Combination of nap and hangover, obviously.

Feels how one might imagine feeling at the bottom of the ocean, under a pile of rocks, or waking up from a roofie. The potential negative effect of a disco nap.

Can usually be avoided by careful monitering of nap-length to no more than half an hour, or by getting enough sleep and needing no naps at all.
