He rattled off a bunch of obscure statistics to defend his vote on the stimulus package, but it was all mathsturbation.

Mathsterbation

Mathsterbation is the act of masturbating when a maths problem or assignment becomes too difficult and/or tedious to complete. It is often practised when the subject has lost all hope in completing his maths and can see no other option.

Friend 1: Hey, what did you get for question 4?

Mathstake

To make an mistake in anything to do with numbers, whether directly to do with an equation of some sort, or to do with days of the week etc.

Pronounced "M'thstake", as if trying to say Mistake with a lisp.

Can be used to annoy people when they deliberately exaggerate a number to make their statement carry more weight or if they are being patronirical.

Guy - I did like 400 push ups before
Girl - I think you made a slight mathstake, I counted about 15.

It is in reference to Otis Mathis, Chairman of the Detroit School Board, who was fondling his private parts for 20 minutes and then unzipped his pants while ejaculating in his "hanker'chief" while meeting with the Superintendent Teresa Gueyser.

"He pulled a Mathis" wile in the classrooom despite being ill discipline to maintain a focus on education and was anxious about taking a test he knew he would fail.
