Eshay or Adlay is an Australian youth subculture commonly associated with criminal activity, named after a slang word. The term “Lad” or "Adlay" is used more commonly to describe a delinquent teenager in Australia from Housing Commission, similar to the term Chav in the United Kingdom's Council Housing.

The word Illchays (as in chill) is also used but when someone is coming but hasnt seen them yet, so they dont need to run but just stop their homo activities
