dudess

A feminine counterpart to the masculine word dude.

"Dude" may perhaps have its origins from the word "duds" (always plural) as in "clothes" or "dress" as one (1883) definition of "dude" means "a man extremely fastidious in dress and manner".

Has been in use since, at least the late 1800s.

Proof of this can be found in it's usage in Mark Twain's book "A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court" published in 1889 and also in an 1885 article in "Weekly New Mexican Review" where the words "dudes" and "dudesses" are used to describe actors in an operetta.

Young lady, you most certainly are a well-dressed dudess.

Dudestorm

When more than three guys, or dudes, travels together to a certain destination. Dudestorms are categorized by the amount of dudes in the storm. Four dudes = a category 4 dudestorm and so on.

Switchin' Dudes

1.The act of exchanging/trading dudes, the state of being gay. Attending a club and attempting to trade the dude one came in with for another dude. Swinging for fags. Also known as "Exchanging Dudes". This appears to happen at Studio 6 in Atlantic City, NJ.

2. Can also define what a previously unknown ho does when you're not around. Cheatin' (if it's your girl, or just trying to be a female playa (switchin' dudes).

1. We drove through the Short North in Columbus, OH, and it was the same as Studio 6 in Atlantic City, NJ!...They're switchin' dudes!

2. I was walking down the street with my boys, and one of the chicks from my lineup was seen SWITCHIN DUDES! HA HA HA!!! It's cool though, that's why you always keep a lineup (switchin' chicks).

Jakob likes dudes

A phrase commonly used by distance runners when there is a break in any conversation. On Fridays he likes men though. If Jakob is dating a woman then a distance runner must quietly say “and women” after the phrase is uttered. This phrase is also commonly said in Taylorism as a prayer.

duder

Duder is a word of many possibilites. It can be used as a replacement for dude. It can also be used to mean someone is more dude-like than someone else (as in dude, duder, dudest.) It has also been known to be used to describe objects for which the name has been temporarily forgotten, or otherwise unknown to the user of the word. Still yet another usage is a verb which means the act of being a dude or doing dudely things.

Hey duder, come over to my house.

Steve is duder than I am, but surely not the dudest guy in the room.

Beth need help to figure out how to opperate this new duder she got.

I think I'm going to go put on my sunglasses and duder around town.
