A well placed or lucky shot in Table Tennis where the offensive player returns a shot, striking his side of the playing surface and then hitting the net, yet still going over to the opponents playing surface.

The less the ball travels after clipping the net, the more dirty the shot, leaving his opponent little chance of returning the shot.
