In webcomics, the addition of an unwanted, superfluous panel over explaining a joke; usually kills anything remotely resembling humor.

Made famous by Tim Buckley of CAD fame.
This webcomic could be funny without the buckley box at the end of every strip.

Scandinavian belt buckle

When a man pulls his balls above his belt line (keeping his penis hidden/tucked) and raises his shirt revealing his scrotum (ususally shiny due to pressure) and says to the witness, "Check out my belt buckle..... it's Scandinavian"

The pure, apparent inherited athletic ability shown in a black athlete (or blacklete). Sparingly used to describe a player of non black origin with the skills of a "blacklete".

Buckley's chance

A very small chance of success, often expressed as "You've got two chances, mate. Buckley's and none." Alternatively contracted to "You've got Buckley's."

Derived from the life of William Buckley, an English soldier convicted of theft circa 1803 and sentenced to transportation to Port Phillip, (present-day Melbourne, in Australia). Buckley escaped and set off for Sydney. He was adopted by the Walthaurung Aborigines and arrived in Sydney in 1835, 32 years later.
