The act of talking without noticing (or caring) if anyone is listening.

I'm watching the game on TV while my wife is on the other sofa verbal twittering. I have no idea what she's saying and it's unlikely she'll stop anytime soon to notice.

Twitterzine

A horridly bad concept for a magazine, consisting of entire articles with 140 chacters or less written on twitter. Twitterzines are usually written by individuals that think people would enjoy reading stories this short, but in reality their story is the length of a normal story broken into 10-20 tweets. Twitterzines authors are usually lame or boring individuals, thinking they have a genius idea, when in reality have the dumbest idea ever!

A word by people who don't actually use twitter and are probably 20 years too old to be using twitter in the first place. Whenever used, they are referring to the word "tweet", but learned about twitter from a day-time talk show hosted by a 40-year-old woman who wants to tell parents what their kids are -really- doing every week.

Brian: Hey, are you twittering?
John: No, I'm tweeting that one more person who has no idea of what twitter is just commented on it.

While millions lost their homes to foreclosures, it seemed like Congress was mainly twittering. There were no signs of active, meaningful assistance.

Writing that may contain typos, misspellings, abbreviations and symbols, some of which is intentional, some of which is accidental -- but "close enough" for the reader to figure it out.

Given the amount of twitterfication, it's clear that no one actually READ the article before publishing it; they simply relied on spell checkers.

1. v. The act of Tweeting. Often used as a hash-tag to indicate that there was no meaning for the Tweet aside from the desire to have Tweeted.
2. To describe the act of one using (flicking) their Twitter account.

I just saw a rhinoceros today at the zoo. #twitterflicking. Man, Betty flicks her twitter like 50 times a day. "Whatcha doin on your phone there?" "Aaww nuthin, just twitterflicking."
