Connor Tactic

A “Connor Tactic” is a strategy used in the game Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege that involves removing all barricades and breaching walls/blowing out walls when placed on the defensive side within any game mode.

“Oh shit, all the barricades are down and the enemy operators are nowhere near point. Looks like they’re using the Connor Tactic.”

verb - meaning to use better tactics than one's opponent. Most common context is in football/soccer.

First used by British football manager Sam Allardyce, who was pleased when he "out-tacticed" then Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho at Stamford Bridge.

An action that undermines someone else, somewhat like cheating. As in Halo using the rocket launcher and invisibility, cockblocking a friend, or cutting in line to get food.

A scrub like move in which people, usually in the gaming demographic, use cheap and/or easy way to defeat or finish something.

Shit tactic

A strategy used in 2D or 3D fighting video games such as street fighter, where the player relentlessly hurls projectile attacks(i.e. the hadoken) in rapid succesion, to defeat the opponent. This tactic is considered newbish but used in the right hands can be somewhat effective in annoying an inferior player.

John: My brethren, word has it that you were mercilessly defeated by Christopher in Street fighter.

Ray: Readily, I say to you, that had it not been for his infernal use of the "shit tactic" I would have prevailed and been victorious in this bout of virtual skill.
