No Shot

When there is absolutely no chance that something happened/or is true. The phrase first gained popularity when it was heard echoing from a shipping container somewhere in Austin, Texas. It can even be traced back to an individual named Tyler "Dimmadomefuck" Niknam, from whom it spread like a virus.

It is typical for people who have adapted this phrase to use it continuously to the point where it becomes frustrating. Saying "No shot" ad nauseam has been linked with heavy cocaine use and having sudden bald spots appear.
"I did not commit the murder, i swear!"
"No shot, bucko! Vote him out."

"There should be equal treatment of men and women in this workplace."

Angel Shot

A guest in a bar or restaurant who's having a bad first date or a bad time with someone they just met can order an Angel Shot to signal to the bartender or server they need assistance. Often times ordering an Angel Shot with on the Rocks or with a Lime means the guest needs more serious assistance. Seems to have started in a small bar in St. Petersburg, Florida called the Iberian Rooster in November or December of 2016. Females tweeted out that they saw a sign in the Rooster's restroom advising of using the drink Angel Shot if they needed help. Bars in the UK and across the US are using the signs too. The largest of which is many of the Hooters Restaurant chain locations.
GUEST; "Hi, could I get an Angel Shot please"?
Bartender; "sure". Bartender then tells a manager who walks up and asks the guest if they can speak to the guest outside for a moment.

Shotgun Snap

When somebody sends a (usually generic) snapchat to multiple people at once, in the hopes it will spur popularity with them, begin convos with somebody, or keep a streak alive.
Also includes when somebody sends the same snapchat they've posted to their story to other people directly.

Derives from "shotgun texts" & "shotgun messages"
I'm so tired of all these basic-ass thots sending me shotgun snaps that they put up on their story instead of having an actual conversation with me.

Shotgun shine

This is an expression related to the blueing of a gun - specifically a high-end shotgun. In the South especially, a finer shotgun would have a "blueing" or a "blue" of the steel that was accomplished by way of the quality of the steel and the effort of the person who owned the gun polishing it. "Shotgun shine" is a simplification/symbolism of this concept and a way of saying that a person has a killer instinct; however attractive they may be. It's not necessarily a positive expression, and surprising that in the nearly 25 years since Alabama 3 used it, and since the Sopranos used it in this manner exactly, that no one else has put it on Urban Dictionary.
It's a shame about little Johnny Sack - he's got such potential in real estate, but also that shotgun shine.
