Singleness

the state of not being in a relationship, A.K.A being single. Singleness is usually characterized (if the person does not like singleness) by depression or pissyness and may be confused with PMS in women and BMS in men. It may also be confused with simple perversion, as the afflicted person usually acts somewhat perverted, due to the deprivation of love.

One of teh worst things anyone can ever have.

After Harry broke up with his girlfriend, his friends noticed that he became very depressed and perverted. Harry was suffering from his own singleness.

Okay, I am only kidding.... just because someone says that he/she is "single and ready to mingle" does not necessarily mean that the person is undesirable. It's just that traditionally, most truly-attractive people have lots of OTHER folks approach THEM romantically, so one has to wonder why the person has to actually inform the world that he is "available and sociable". One should go ahead and befriend said individual, but just be a bit extra-wary of "red flags".

A (less vulgar) slang term to describe a girl who is easy , and had sexual intercourse with someone who she recently met.

The term refers to the concept only a "single hit" is needed to get to home base .

Similar terms include: one night stand , casual sex , and slut .

1) I met this girl named Emily at the party last night, and I singled her. What a whore.

2) Bob is such a stud. He has singled so many girls he lost count.

3) Wow Sara got singled from that guy last night. He must be packing.
