Something somebody made up tons of years ago. Something that's just there to make other people feel less important, beautiful, and more nerdy and dorkish than the so called, "popular people." A word that makes everybody else sad except for the ones that are actual popular.

people who think they're all that, and think they're cool. these people can also be complete jerks and bullies to people that keep to themselves and are really the 'cool' ones.
Example1: Madeline='Popular' Sally='Unpopular' speaks her mind Tina=An onlooker who doesn't care what people think about her.

Sally: Middle schoolers don't even know what love is so you seriously can't love Jimmy. Plus you've only been going out for a week.
Madeline: You don't even know what you're talking about. You're 13 right? You live in Lake Oswego and probably have lived here your whole life. Don't go acting like you know everything. Because you don't. And I know so many people that met and fell IN LOVE in middle school and are still married. And a lot of people in my family had a kid before they were 21 and they all got married. So just relax. You're not Dr. Phil BEEZY.

Someone who has a lot of friends. Not all popular people are bitchy mean and stupid. A person can be popular within their own group not only the entire school. A person can be popular for many different reasons and it's not fair to judge them because a lot of people like and respect them. You don't have to be pretty to be popular, but that does help with the opposite sex. However, Then you have the people who have a lot of "friends" because they are intimidating and/or mean and people are scared of them. Usually these kind of people aren't actually liked but people are "friends" with them so they don't get made fun of. This isn't is as common as is portrayed in movies, this website , tv shows ect. Usually popular people are popular because they have the good qualities people look for in a friend.
