Paljas

Paljas or Paljaske is a noun used in the Belgian province, of Antwerp. In its essence it means clown. It can be used as an insult but is mostly used as a term amongst friends. In the positive sense, a Paljas or Paljaske can be seen as the joker of the group, the one that does a lot for a smile on a friend's face. Everybody needs a Paljaske in their group.
