The Ogden Opposition

When a guy likes a girl and does everything in his power no matter how strange, stubborn or ridiculous, to keep the attention of said girl to himself even if she isn't interested in him or is just a huge flirt and everyone knows it. This can often manifest itself in awkward and confrontasional situations.

Guy to friend: did you see john last night? He wasted the whole party playing the Ogden opposition to keep jane all to himself but she's totally not into him.

Word made by my 7th grade Advanced Algebra teacher. It is another name for a negative sign. You use this word when you have a number that you need to make the “opposite” with a negative sign. (“Take the opposite”)

Use an oppositizer to take the opposite of 8. You will then get -8.
