1) A materialist. Someone who insists on using different sorts of gear in the most unneeded of times. 2) A giermo will always buy the most on a shopping trip, or buy the most flashy/visible things. 3) Also a name for a snobby rich person.

Pronounced: Gee - er - mo.

1) While climbing a tree with his friends, Ben brought a grappling hook along just for the heck of it. Ben was a Giermo.

2) Sam knew he was a giermo when he saw his flashing glow in the dark shoes, next to his cousin's black and brown ones.
