Etymology: From Cook's Source editor Judith Griggs' use of writer Monica's article from GodeCookery without attribution or permission, and from Griggs' subsequent rejection and ridicule of Monica's request for compensation.
Example of usage: "Why'd you get an F on that essay?" "I griggs'd the professor's doctoral thesis from her website, and I even cleaned it up for her, but she failed me anyway."

Alternate usage: "For tomorrow's deadline, I'm going to griggs some article from LiveJournal but edit it to remove the humor and interestingness.

2. narcing on someone in an advantageous position.

3. not washing ones hands after using the bathroom, despite how dirty they may be. including having fecal matter on them.

4. dirtying community food, such as a bag of chips by licking your fingers and rummaging around contaminating the rest of the bag.

5. discreetly attempting to hide the fact of farting/sharting/crapping yourself in public, and acting like nothing happened, regardless of the smell.

GRIGG

verb. Acronym for Getting Ready Instead of Getting Going. Used to describe actions that are counterproductive to the goal; similar to procrastinating by using preparation as an excuse to performing a job.
Max can grigg for hours preparing to start his homework. First he needs his favorite pencil, then he can't find his notebook, then he calls a friend to clarify the assignment and so on until the night falls.

We should have started running 90 minutes ago but Caroline wanted to change her shoes and download some songs and then sync her ipod and she's going to grigg my morning away!
