Unfortunately though, GitHub is also one of the most confusing sites to navigate through, especially for the average person who just wants to download a software.
I heavily stand by the belief that software developers should NOT use GitHub as the primary download hub for their end-users. That is very bad practice in my opinion. Instead, it is a better practice to host their finished software on dedicated download hubs such as sourceforge. GitHub is primarily a code repository, not a software repository, and average users nagivating a GitHub repo can get easily confused like I once did.
