people who are limited to listening to 1 or 2 genres of music

I found them to be genre challenged as they were stuck on the music they listened to in their teens.

someone who hates a certain genre of music to the point of putting down the music or anyone listening to it.

Genrus

A modification of the common word 'generous' mainly used by old gay men in a chat room to indicate their desire to pick up a hooker. No one is sure why they use that word instead of the real one other than to avoid notice of law enforcement officials. Also can appear as genru$ further indicating a desire for a financial transaction in exchange for sex.

Genre Nazi

One who zealously classifies music as being of a certain genre.
A genre nazi will argue against anyone who claims the music in question is a different genre than what the grammar nazi has said it to be.
The word "grammar nazi" stems from the slang term for someone who aggresively corrects people on their spelling, vocabulary and grammar - a "Grammar Nazi".

Typical genre nazi argument.

"Deadmau5 is a progressive house/trance artist, not trance/progressive house artist, you idiot!"

"Metallica are a thrash metal/speed metal band, not a speed metal/thrash metal band, you idiot!"

"Rihanna is a R&B/pop music singer, not a pop music/R&B singer, you idiot!"

Gerry Ford

A person who rises, undeservedly, to a position of authority, usually as a result of another's demise. Also know as a Paterson.

Jeff: You see the guy taking over for Spitzer as our Governor?
Pete: What's his name?
Jeff: I don't know, but he's a total Gerry Ford.

Can also be used as a verb.

To classify something(like a song or a video) as being part of a particular genre.

The song was hard to genrefy. It was kind of like a mixture between classical music and techno.
