The term is a portmanteau of "mansplaining" and "gaslighting". It was originally coined in the "screenwriting" subreddit as a description for one type of bad screenwriting.
When the man in that movie was telling the female protagonist to just calm the f*** down simply because she pointed out that he shouldn't light up a cigarette in a room full of high explosives, he was clearly gasplaining her.
