ferneh

It’s a small-village-west -of-London colloquialism for being broke, for having no money.

It’s roots stem back to a rowdy game of Scrabble during my college years, it was a triple word score, and a verb described by a fellow player in a Clouseauesque accent as meaning 'to be penniless'. It's still used today, twenty five years later.

‘I am broke and have no money, I am ferneh.’

Ferrells Law

Ferrells law is the theory that any and every conversation will eventually contain some type of Will Ferrell reference. Weather it’s a direct quote or reference to a Will Ferrell movie. The quote does not have to be an exact quote. It can also be a play off of a Will Ferrell quote:

Shawn: We need more beer.
Jason: I’ve got a fever! And the only prescription is more beer!

(This is an example of an in-direct application of Ferrells law, because it references a skit that contains Will Ferrell)

Shawn: We have no beer
Jason: You sit on a throne of lies:”!
Benjamin: I actually have more beer.
Jason: You’re my boy Blue!
(This is an example of a direct application of Ferrells Law, because it utilizes direct Will Ferrell quotes)

Any Party:

He’s Gonna do one!
We’re going streaking!
It’s so good! Once it touches your lips it’s so good!
Did we just become best friends? Yep!

Freddie das Ferkel is The sweetest ferkelchen ever of the world. Its from ikea and now lives in the butz. Schnörwangen and Lina Raven are the loving parents of bakababy pig. Its too sweet for the world and her best friend is Roman the grumpy potato from frietwinkel.

Fernet

Fernet-Branca liquer. An alcoholic drink with a cult-like following in some urban locales. Fomulated as a patent medicine in the 1800's, some claim it is like absinthe, but it is really just an after-dinner bitters liquer with the extra punch of a variety of 40+ secret herbs including some that are known to have psychological effects such as Saffron, Ginseng and St. John's Wort. It does seem to have some effect beyond just being alcohol but it's nowhere near as psychedelic or narcotic as it is rumored to be. Some people also consider it to be a great hangover cure.

I housesat for this guy in Hollywood and he had a case of Fernet in his liquor closet.

A noun or adjective, describing something exceptionally wonderful; something extremely amazing or awe-inspiring. The word has many different uses, and can be applied to many positive situations. Use sparingly to preserve its effect. To describe something cool or good, but not incredible, see "fredonculatides."

A word used to give the location of an object relative to another object. Meanings include, but are not limited to: beside, in, on, around, above, under, across from, behind, in front of, near, etc...

I put the rake fernenst the garage.

The salt shaker is in the cupboard fernenst the stove.
