One of the old guys wearing a Members Only Jacket and a really cheap baseball had with random advertising on it. That he has no idea what it even represents. He also likes to wear FREE clothing they hand out at the Casinos.They also like to wear ugly polyester flood pants hiked up to their nipples and belts with big belt buckles..

Spoiler faux pas

A statement which is claimed to spoil a film or television show episode, but in reality states something that never even occurs in the film or episode, thus making it not actually the spoiler of anything. Also called a "fake spoiler," "faux spoiler," or a "false spoiler."

Kevin: I'm serious this time, Oscar, don't you dare spoil "The Very Hungry Caterpillar."
Oscar: It dies.
Kevin: YOU SUCK!!!!
Oscar (thinking): Has no idea it was a spoiler faux pas...sucks for him!

Monica: I haven't watched the finale of 'Breaking Bad' yet...you better not spoil it for me...
Rachel: Walt Jr. convinces Walt and Skyler to get back together and it turns out that Hank actually didn't die.

Faux Pavant Garde

A subculture defined mainly by Mac Assholes. They not only feel that Apple products are superior but also wear semi-emo type clothing; a "trendy" style that is meant to be innovative and original, but in truth is standardized and grounded by the rehashing and leeching of stylists' efforts to copy one another. The members of the Faux Pavant Garde are well off financially, though it's not clear exactly what they do for income, if indeed they do anything at all, but they afford their over-priced clothing, Cube cars, computers and Starbucks coffee somehow. The Faux Pavant Garde value some form of creativity but tout themselves to be transgressive artists, or those who push people out of their comfort zones with their art. These efforts are rather unfounded because the worst they do is transgress on Faux Pas though consider themselves at the forefront of an Avant Garde; hence, Faux Pavant Garde. This subculture of Mac Assholes, or generously, people, is one that membership is not desired.

Some would say the Faux Pavant Garde is a mixture of chav and emo, how they do it, I don't know.

faux pair

A faux pair is a foreign live-in babysitter who, though obtained through a legal au pair agency, does nothing but imbibe of America's pleasures while she is in the U.S. She takes the year-long job as a chance to enjoy an extended tourist vacation and only pays attention to the children when they teach her American slang.

Last year all our faux pair did was watch The Real World and go clubbing with her European posse. She said more to Mickey Mouse in the two minutes we spent in Toon Town than she said to me the entire year.
