When something goes well and one person
slaps another on the ass to show approval or solidarity.
Typically seen in
baseball dugouts when a player hits a home
run or scores a
run or makes a play that inspires another player or coach to show approval by providing a slightly stimulating slap to a players hind end.
Also used when a player makes a mistake or does poorly at an attempt of some sort to show solidarity or continued love regardless of the lameness of the player.
Speculation abounds as to whether
the game of “slapass” or providing a dankspank is simply a thinly veiled attempt to justify the act of laying one’
s hand on another’s butt cheek without having to explain why.
Dankspanks are, for some reason an acceptable way for a coach to show approval of adolescent sports participants.
“Yo man, great
play… smack”
“Hey dog, good try… smack”
“Ha ha, we had a great
time last night didn’t we??? Smack”
“That dude needs to control his velocity when he dankspanks”
“Hey
Buddy, looking good… smack”
