An historical based AU played on Reddit, based in Civilization by Sid Meier. This is a collaborative team game, in which you work in a faction or country to capture or destroy the capitals of other teams. You can, however, work against your own team members and kill them if you wish. You do this through writing plots each week. Often shortened to simply "CHG". It is also a Discord community.

Sea Cadet that lacks any showing of effort, ability to follow orders, or to even try. Does not complete course work and therefore stays an E-1 his whole worthless life. During unit drills, often pretends to be tying his/her shoes while jogging during PT to avoid working out. Many think this person deserves to die the death of a Communist.

American Civil War soldiers were often refered to as Civs and during battle these soldiers would typically have so many holes in them, and bleed so profusely that they became a slang refering to heavy leakage as they were unable to retain blood.
