Costa Rica Moment

That moment when you plan a trip to Costa Rica, but fail to ask someone to cover your work responsibilities so you can’t go. Your failure is exemplified by the fact that you got down and dirty to get your colleagues to cover for you and you still failed. Despite appealing to everyone’s good nature, offering favors and even hot sex if they would cover, everyone turned you down. Now the entire office refers to every office faux pas as a “Cost Rica Moment” just to spite you.

RR: How’s it going today guys?
DB: Just took my first deuce in three day’s and flooded out the bathroom. I didn’t fess to it, but everyone knew it was me. I guess it’s just another “Costa Rica Moment”
JK: We’ve all been there.

Used before a descriptive past experience that targets typical teenagers and are sometimes relatable to. Inserting an adjective before "moment" specifies what type of moment it is.

1.) that moment when you can't feel your cell phone in your pocket.
2.) that awkward moment when your best friend gets yelled at and you're just standing there...
3.) that awesome moment when you get moved right next to your best friend in consequence of violating the classroom's rules.

Larry David Moment

When a person says, or does something offensive to someone else, without intentionally doing so.

Originates from the show "Curb Your Enthusiasm", in which the star; Larry David, always inadvertently offends someone.

Man #1: It was nice to meet your wife last night.
Man #2: Thank you, she thinks you're a terrific guy.
Man #1: She's hot too. Great tits.
Man #2: Excuse me?
Man #1: Ya' know, she's got a nice body. Nice. It's a compliment
Man #2: That's very offensive.
Man #1: It wasn't suppose to be.
Man #2: FUCK YOU!
Man #1: I just had a Larry David moment.

disney channel moment

When multiple people break out into choreographed song and dance. Usually takes place within regular daily activities, and can include (but is not limited to) such atrocities as:
*Jazz Hands
*The word "Yeah!" said in a refreshing tone of voice
*Two rival OR in love characters circling eachother face to face
*Highlights
*Simple lyrics and mediocre dancing

Usually Disney Channel Moments are limited to shows such as Hannah Montana, however they do oftenly transition into big-name movies, and crappy strait to DVD TV movies.

I just watched Highschool Musical 6, and I was smothered by a billion wonderful Disney Channel Moments. The movie still sucked, though.
