As you age and your hearing begins to fail. The words that you hear are no longer the words that are actually being spoken. The responses that you give that no longer make sense in a natural conversational manner would be considered a docism.

Docans. someone who is raised as a spoiled child but grew up to be a wonderful woman of high regards. Be careful when dealing with a Docans as they have a patience as small as their height.
