Grief jerkey

grief jerkey is any cooked meat that is eaten during periods of intense greiving over the loss of a loved one. Typically the meat is of the portable variety such as cold cuts, hot dogs, or when doing things properly..sausage. Grief jerkey is well known to be beloved by the Irish, and is typically enjoyed out of the back of an open car trunk in the parking lot of a funeral home after a wake or funeral service.
(overheard at Tone's wake) "Hey Schmitty...grab me another cold one and toss me a piece of grief jerkey while you are at it"

Home to the two most contrasting areas of NJ. Bergen County is rich as hell and Hudson County is poor as hell (except Hoboken).

Hoboken Kid: $7 for my caramel fudge whipped cream double espresso iced mochiatto Starbucks latte? Hell yeah! This shit is CHEAP as hell!

North Jersey Accent

First off, NO ONE says JOISEY or anything with an "oi". Most jersey people, at least where i live (North Jersey), talk like New Yorkers. We tend to put aw or au in everything.

(This doesn't mean that EVERY jersey resident speaks like this)
Me: I wawk and i tawk like i live in new york(or pronounced Yowk, depending which part of jersey yer from) and i drink lots a wawta (water) and cawfee.

*Yep, JURZEE's very unique

THIS is the most common North Jersey accent
