Girl: "You do so much for me. Thanks for always standing up to me."
Boy: "Yeah of course. You are like a sister to me."
Girl: **Dammit...he just sister zoned me** "Yeah. You are like a brother to me."

Like being friend zoned but because they're the wrong sexuality. This can apply with either asker or asked being the wrong sexuality, but it is always heartbreakingly painful
Me: hey, wanna go out with me some time
Every girl ever: I'm sorry... I'm a lesbian?
Me: damn, straight zoned again

A remote, desolate, and depressing place much like the "friend zone" into which those good friends named Ben (or any articulation of the name) are cast by a prospective mate. There is a subtle difference however, unlike the "friend zone," where the attraction is solely one-sided, those in the Ben Zone have been cast there by one who reciprocates the attraction, but has deemed any progression beyond friendship to be illogical, which in and of itself is illogical.
Girl: Ben, I like you...a lot, but I think we should just be friends.
Ben: Oh, ok then...
Ben's Friends: Ben, we're so sorry, you're in the Ben Zone.

A technique used by Takumi Fujiwara in the anime series Initial D. Named by Ryosuke Takahashi, the Fujiwara Zone allows Takumi to handle his AE86 in a way that would seem to defy what is believed to be possible. This is the result of Takumi having driven his AE86 from a young age and forming a strong connection to the car, almost as if it were an extension to his body. The technique can be identified by the AE86 appearing to teleport while driving, which is an illusion caused by the human eyes not being able to keep up with the preconceived notion that a weak car like the AE86 is impossible of executing such techniques.
Fumihiro: How is the Eight-Six capable of such advanced movement and techniques?
Ryosuke: That is a result of the Fujiwara Zone.

A fantastic series that takes place in the future involving Mecha called Orbital Frames. It takes place in the years 2167 - 2174 which stem from, in this order, the OAV movie Zone of the Enders: Idolo, Zone of the Enders (PS2 game), the anime series, Zone of the Enders: Dolores,i, and lastly Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner (Another game for PS2).
Started in March 11th, 2001, the Zone of the Enders series was introduced by Konami and due to the success of it, it merited the distribution of an anime series and a sequel and even several Model figures.
One proper misconception is that the mechs have penises. This is not true. Below the abdomen, every mech in the series has a cockpit which partrudes away from the center. The cockpit also does not attack. This is a common misconception by ignorant Zoids fans and cannot be forgiven.
