Biden Blame Syndrome

"Biden Blame Syndrome (BBS) is the tendency to disproportionately blame President Biden for various issues, regardless of his involvement or responsibility. Those affected by BBS often use Biden as a convenient scapegoat, overlooking other contributing factors or individuals who may be truly at fault. This syndrome manifests even when Biden is entirely blameless, demonstrating a fixation on attributing responsibility to him at all costs. In some cases, individuals may experience BBS reflexively to shield the actual culprits from accountability.

The antithesis of "Credit"

Hym "If I set a rake outside of your door. Who is to blame if you step on it and bash your face? You stepped on it. You're the one who got hurt but it wouldn't have happened if I hadn't put it there. If I write a soliloquy and someone else builds a movie around it; who deserves the credit? The people who wrote all of the general themes and the soliloquy or the person who stepped on the rake? This isn't about you're earned whatever vs my unearned. It's about you trying to arbitrate who deserves what. And if you can do it then so can I. I can arbitrate what you deserve and get the credit I deserve and there is nothing you can do to stop me. Give it to me or I'm going to take. The emails can be excavated. Your role in all of this can be illuminated for everyone to see. You don't have to like it but what's the alternative? Me showing you a more potent version of playing God? You don't have the high ground here. You don't win this. You don't prove a point. You don't dissuade me. You begrudgingly give me what I want because it is the ONLY leverage you have to get me to do what you want."

Blame-frame

Similar to blame-shift, it is a manipulation and abusive tactic where a person refuses to accept responsibility for their actions and then places blame on their targeted victim while applying it to multiple scenarios that frame a victim as the perpetrator as a larger overall narrative.

She believes nobody can recognize how she blame-frames her boyfriend for everything that happens.

He was exonnerated in court because he was completely blame-framed from the start.

Fallacy of Sole and Exclusive Blame

The fallacy of attributing all responsibility for a complex phenomenon to a single cause, agent, or system—most famously, the claim that "this is solely and exclusively the fault of communism." The fallacy ignores that complex historical events have multiple causes, that responsibility is often distributed, that systems interact, that context matters. It's the logic of "communism killed millions" used to end discussion, as if that single factor explained everything—ignoring colonialism, capitalism, imperialism, war, famine, and the myriad other forces that shaped the same events. The Fallacy of Sole and Exclusive Blame is beloved of ideologues who want simple stories, who need clear villains, who can't tolerate complexity. It reduces history to morality play, causation to blame, understanding to accusation.

Example: "He blamed communism for every death, every famine, every failure—as if capitalism, colonialism, and imperialism had killed no one. The Fallacy of Sole and Exclusive Blame had simplified history to a single villain, a single story, a single cause. Complexity was sacrificed for certainty; understanding was sacrificed for blame."
