sea of women

A large group of females that out-number the males in a defined area or space; typically only one male is present which some say is a rarity but also a perk.

It may even serve as an uncomfortable setting for said male(s), all depending of course. The term could also be used interchangeably for men but it's popular use remains with women.

1A) Michael: Dude, you're so lucky you have a class with a sea of women.

1B) Jim: I know bro, maybe I'll have a chance with one of them.

2A) David: I have no guy friends to talk with in this sea of women.

2B) Samantha: That's okay, now, which color fabric do you prefer, lavender or perrywinkle?
