A play of words on 'sanitary towel', A strip of toilet roll placed in the underpants to prevent the soiling of underwear following a heavy night out. Similar to a 'manpon' in nature.

Can also be used in a derogatory nature towards a male who is acting like a female.

I drank so much beer last night, it's given me the shits. Think I'm gonna have to use a manitary towel.

2. To change your mind using a play on words in an attempt to get out of a corner one has placed themselves in.
3. To obfuscate the truth with statements that have little meaning, but contrary to a statement said the day/ week/month before. Often leaving reporters (and the public) mildly amused, puzzled but very disappointed and annoyed.
