A German polar researcher who proposed the continental drift theory. He would make trips to the arctic to prove his theory despite everyone going against him. He made smart claims like how one type of rock was on Asia and the same type of rock was found on America. He published multiple articles but on a trip to the arctic he died of a heart attack when his crew was starving.
